Jacques, a red seal chef at the age of 18, brings 35 years of culinary experience to L’Amour Catering & Cakes. With a love for food that began as a young boy in Montreal, his early career began in some of the city’s finest establishments before joining the military. While with the Forces 8th Canadian Hauber he had the honour of cooking for Queen Elizabeth Prince Charles and Princess Diana in Petawawa. His desire to be the best grew as the years went by, paying close attention to detail, learning new and exciting things along the way to becoming head chef with the famous Le Chateaubriand in Montreal.

He knows there are three components to food: it must look good, smell good and taste good to complete the delight of patrons.

As for myself, I am dedicated to making your day memorable, I have expanded my culinary knowledge over the years entertaining family & friends - always trying new things and improving on them. For the past 4 years working for a local catering company in all areas, from front end set up (and take down), table design, to appetizer and entrée preparation, I have found my one true love in cooking, I have also refined my baking skills through Wilton`s Cake Designer courses. This allows us to provide cakes for all occasions.
 I knew I had a dream to grow on. My passion for cooking had led me to today.  I work under Jacques where I have created and cooked for many .Together we are delighted to bring our experience, knowledge and delightful staff to your event to make your evening memorable.  Denise & Jacques
